FOR YOUTHS
We welcome youths to be a part of our collective to explore and discover meaningful careers, as well as to help other youths do so! Many of the youths who have benefitted from TAC's career guidance programmes continue to support younger versions of them on their journey of exploration!
JOIN OUR PROGRAMMES
You can join in TAC's career exploration and career mentoring programmes through either our school-based programmes or our open sign-up programmes. You can check with your ECG counsellors, school teachers or career office if your school offers any TAC programmes.
Alternatively, you could join our new Young Astronauts Telegram chat to get frequent updates on the latest open sign-up programmes you could sign up for. We often partner other like-minded organisations such as the SkillsFuture Singapore Lifelong Learning Institute and the National Youth Council to run pop-up career exploration programmes, especially during the holidays!
BE A YOUTH GUIDANCE ASSOCIATE (YGA)
If you're currently a tertiary student (in ITE, polytechnic or university), you could sign up to help guide other youths on their education and career journey. Your recent experiences will come in handy as you support your juniors, be it in making difficult tertiary education decisions or in thinking about what career you might find meaningful to pursue!
We are on the lookout for tertiary youths who are passionate about supporting other youths to be a part of the TAC family. You will need to be willing to commit some time outside of classes to help facilitate programmes and mentor youths from more challenging backgrounds. In the process, you will get to go through training to be a more effective facilitator and a mentor. Plus, you'll also be able to earn some pocket money while doing good.
