OUR APPROACH
We believe that education and career guidance isn't just about helping youths make "informed" career choices. After all, information is but a means to an end. At TAC, we aspire towards a future where everyone can have a meaningful career, especially since most of us spend the vast majority of our adult lives working.
Meaningful careers, happier lives. :)
Drawing on our experiences running career guidance programmes for youths since 2015, TAC has developed our unique approach to help youths explore and discover meaningful careers built on what we'd like to call -
the Idea of "Worlds"!
IDEA OF "WORLDS"
A meaningful career isn't only about pay and working hours, as important as those factors may be.
In TAC, we believe that one way to have a meaningful career is to have our work contribute towards the world around us. Contributing to the world doesn't have to be something grand like "eradicating poverty"; it can be in small yet impactful ways to our community and society. Like how a journalist doesn't just report news; they also contribute to an Informed World.
In fact we think that most, if not all jobs can contribute to the world around us, in small and big ways. Some jobs can contribute to more than one world, and different jobs can contribute to the same world.
This is our Idea of "Worlds". :)
